During your first visit

We will ask a lot of questions and really get to know you and your specific needs and concerns.

  1. We will capture photos of you and your mouth along with x-rays of your teeth, jaw, & supporting structure. We will perform an examination of your head and neck, screen for oral cancer, and examine your teeth and gums.
  2. Airway/breathing screenings will involve taking photos, examining the hard and soft tissues, looking at your muscle function, and imaging your airway with sound waves.
  3. When you return home, we may ask you to keep a food journal or complete additional forms, do additional testing, or visit with a provider that we collaborate with.
  4. Once we have gathered all of our information, we can identify areas of high or low risk. When we’ve identified these risks, we can create a strategy to ensure safe and healthy treatment.

Your discovery visit and beyond

After your initial visit, we can review our findings and establish what is a high and low risk for you specifically.

Then, we can decide what treatments will reduce these risks and help lead to the best version of you.

Together, we will work to help you have better health overall, from your mouth to mind to body.
